Aldo Tura (1909-1963 Italy) designed this bar cart in the 1960s. He is an outlier in the world of mid-Century Furniture, but even for him this piece is very special with this pipe shaped body.
He is also called the master of parchment and designed serveral objects in this style.
Sometimes stained red or green or like here in brown-coloured leather. The handles and the cover of the ice box are made of gilded brass. The bar cart is a material combination of gilded brass, metal and lacquered goatskin.
Very good vintage condition, the rubber of the wheels is nearly mint.
After an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum/New York Tura´s work is more and more appreciated.
